Because we are a non-profit organization, we depend 100% on our volunteers who generously donate their time and the generosity of people like you.
Monetary Donations:
High on our list of needs would be monetary donations that make it possible for us to support the many services we provide for homeless animals. This includes spaying and neutering, giving age appropriate shots, and providing any medical attention they might need. If you are able to donate in this manner, please send a check or money order to the Fayette Humane Society, P.O. Box 244, Fayetteville, Georgia 30214 or securely online on our Donation Page. Monetary donations can also be made through our “In Memory Of” or “In Honor Of” page where you can recognize a pet, friend, or family member.
Special Needs Animals:
From time to time we take in animals with special needs. This can include an extremely young animal(s) whose mother was killed and the infant now needs continual, round the clock feedings with special formula, a dog with heartworm, an FIV positive cat, an animal requiring surgery resulting from an accident or animal cruelty, etc. If you would like to sponsor or contribute to the care of a special needs animal, go to our “How to Donate” page. When we have special needs animals, they will be showcased on our “Special Needs Pets” page.
Volunteer — Give Your Time
All of us who work with the Fayette Humane Society are volunteers. There are no paid positions. The time volunteers offer varies from a few hours to countless hours, and any amount of time you can offer is greatly appreciated. There are many ways to volunteer and the variety of skills required is great. Please check our Volunteer page to learn the different ways you can help.
Become a Foster to a Homeless Animal
Because we do not have a shelter, our animals are cared for in foster homes. The more foster homes we have, the more homeless animals we can help. Learn more about “fostering” on our Volunteer page.
Things We Need:
There are a number of items which are always needed at adoptions, in our Cat Care Room at the Peachtree City PetSmart, and in foster homes. By donating any of these items, we are able to direct our available funds to our spay/neuter program, scheduled vaccinations, and the medical attention our animals require. These items can be delivered to our adoption sites during regular adoptions or you can call our phone line and someone will be happy to schedule other arrangements.
Other Ways to Give:
There are two ways for you to donate to the Fayette Humane Society through online searches and purchases.
