The Fayette County Humane Society is an all volunteer, NON-PROFIT organization located in Fayetteville, Georgia, about 30 miles south of Atlanta. Our programs are supported entirely by fundraising and the generosity of individuals who share our concern for homeless animals. We adopt out cats, dogs, puppies and kittens who were previously unwanted. We often help injured animals. We do not have a shelter and must depend on our volunteers to foster the animals. Our adoptions are held at Petsmart in Peachtree City & Fayetteville on Saturdays from 12-4. The society is dedicated to ending the needless suffering of unwanted pets by preventing surplus litters through our aggressive spay neuter program. We provide spay/neuter assistance and temporary foster care for rescued, homeless pets until they can be placed into permanent loving homes. All pets are given age appropriate tests, vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

A tiny kitten was found by one of our volunteers with the bone protruding out of her leg (they think she was attacked by a fox). Any donation to her surgery would be much appreciated! KITTEN SPECIAL!! Only $75 for one kitten or $100 for 2! (Normal price is $95 for kitten). Due to an overwhelming amount of kittens this year, and people losing their houses and having no places for their cats, we have taken in more cats and kittens than our foster homes can hold and desperately need them to find new loving homes. We are having to turn away people in desperate need because of our severe lack of space. We want to help every cat/kitten but we cannot do that until we free up some space. We think every cat deserves a chance, unlike some "rescue" groups who just take in "cute" cats and kittens! Please consider adopting from us! All cats/kittens are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, dewormed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped! What a deal!

Tuesday, July 15th is Fayette County Humane Society Night at Partners II Pizza in Fayetteville at the Publix Shopping Center!!! They are donating a portion of sales between 6 and 9 pm to our Spay/Neuter Program, so bring the kids, bring a spouse, bring a friend, bring the family, bring them ALL on Tuesday, July 15.  Mark your calendar!!

FCHS are looking for volunteers to be a lead at adoptions on Saturdays from 11-4:30!! This is a commitment of one Saturday per month to help set up cages and get our pets adopted!! Please call 770-487-1073 if interested
